As a non-profit, we are honored beyond words by va

As a non-profit, we are honored beyond words by various gifts.

1) The gift of prayer is always the top of our list. Faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. We have witnessed miracles that only God could orchestrate.
2) The gift of trust—with difficult situations that are going on and by the families who send their kids here.
3) The gift of time by our mentors, wranglers, lesson leaders, arena leaders, board members, volunteers, participants and parents.
4) The gift of love by every single person who asks about the Ranch and how it is going and offers words of encouragement.
5) The gift of finances which allow us to keep sessions 100% free-of-charge and accessible to all. It reminds me of the free gift of Jesus. Doesn’t cost us a thing. Just believe.
6) The gift of peace—which Jesus sets on our land and horses and all who come can feel and experience. People even tell us that they can feel the peace through the photos.
7) The gift of sharing. Sharing our story. Sharing what God has done. Sharing how lives are changed and hurts are healed. Sharing in life with each other.

That’s almost the grain for one day for our horses. God uses everything! Please consider an end of the year gift whether $8 or $8,000 to allow us to continue offering hope and changing lives.

A day on the Ranch! Feeding the distinguished ladies breakfast. Rehabbing Cody. Ponying and introducing Captain to more horses. Changing pastures of horses to introduce Captain over a fence line. Changing and moving hay feeders and putting hay in. Watering horses. Vet visit for ✋horses. Finish moving horses. And now, 💤. God is good to allow us to do this work so we can be there to help kids and families going through difficult times! 🤍 #offeringhope #changinglives

We are beyond grateful for @bethlehem_youth.1 help $We are beyond grateful for @bethlehem_youth.1 helping us with a service project today during their youth group time! Getting newsletters ready generally takes HOURS, but it only took 30 minutes with their help! Now, we wait for our non-profit application at the post office to go through. Pray with us for expediency so we can get these in the mail! Also, let us know if you’d like to be on our mailing list. It’s not too late! Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. {1 Timothy 4:12} Thank you for setting an example in conduct, in faith and in love today. 🤍$

Captain’s Day Out aka He got to adventure to the

Captain’s Day Out aka He got to adventure to the other side of the creek to see the other horses from afar. Soon enough he’ll meet them nose to nose over a fence. 🤍

Introducing horses is a slow process. We quarantine as we evaluate the new horse and get them settled. Then we slowly get them used to their surroundings. Some of our horses haven’t realized that there’s been a new guy around. Next they will meet over a fence for a day or two and if all goes well, we will introduce Captain to the pasture and watch to make sure the horses get along. Horses always create a hierarchy in the herd and it can take a bit for them to adjust to a new member. This is why we use late fall to introduce new members to the herd. We have time to train and get everyone settled prior to next spring/summer when mentors and kids come back to the Ranch.

We pray for peace in the home of our horses as they rest and prepare to love kids next summer, offer them peace straight from Jesus and help lighten their load by carrying their burdens. It’s an incredibly special relationship.

My people will live in peaceful dwellings, in secure homes, and in undisturbed resting places. {Isaiah 32:18}

We were told there wasn’t a replacement for this 1970’s tire but then we found one online and ordered it! Grateful to find the parts we need and grateful for equipment no matter the age of it!

We all need an escape. A safe place to go. A place to connect with nature and simply be. A place where confidence is built while having an adult walk beside you cheering you on and encouraging you. We all need a place like this. Now more than ever. We are thankful to be that place. A place of peace. A place of hope. We see you. We are here.
